On 10 December 2025, BASTA! and the CHANCE Network will host in Brussels the very first edition of the CHANCE Forum — Europe Against Corruption, followed by a Belgian Workshop on Youth Crime Prevention.
Organised around the International Anti-Corruption Day, this event will bring together youth, civil society organisations, journalists, institutions, and experts committed to strengthening integrity and democratic resilience across Europe.
The CHANCE Forum, taking place in the morning, will offer an open space for dialogue and reflection on the links between corruption, organised crime, and democratic erosion. Two thematic sessions will address key issues shaping today’s public debate:
- Journalism and Corruption, exploring the role of investigative reporting in exposing criminal networks;
- Environment and Corruption, focusing on environmental crimes, ecomafias, and systemic gaps in green governance.
In the afternoon, participants are invited to take part in the Belgian Interactive Workshop, dedicated to the role of education and youth work in promoting civic engagement and preventing organised crime and corruption among young people.
When? 10 December 2025!
Where: Hotel de Ville de Saint-Gilles, Brussels
Registration is open until 4 December!
We warmly encourage organisations, youth leaders, institutions, and citizens to join us for this unique day of exchange, learning, and collective mobilisation.
