Empowering Young People to Shape Europe’s Civic Future

YOUTH4YOU is a project promoted by the CHANCE network to strengthen cooperation between young people and civil society across Europe.
At its core, the project supports youth participation in EU initiatives by combining civic education, digital tools, international exchange, and local action.

Young People at the Centre

YOUTH4YOU recognises young people not just as participants, but as drivers of change.
The project creates opportunities for them to learn, connect, and act on issues such as civic engagement, social justice, anti-corruption, and the defence of democratic values.
Through digital platforms, public events, and training activities, young people are encouraged to take an active role in their communities and to engage with European institutions in a meaningful way.

Building Skills, Networks and Awareness

Over 12 months, YOUTH4YOU develops a range of activities designed to increase visibility, participation, and cooperation within the CHANCE network and beyond.
Key actions include:

  • the creation of interactive digital tools, such as an online map highlighting good practices and civic initiatives across Europe;
  • the development of an open-access digital toolkit for educators and young people, available in multiple languages;
    participation in international awareness-raising initiatives, including the Day of Memory and Commitment on 21 March;
  • local actions and public events promoting civic engagement, historical memory, and the fight against corruption;
  • a coordinated communication campaign, “Youth Commitment for Clean Societies”, through websites, social media, and multimedia content.

A Strong and Connected Network

YOUTH4YOU also strengthens the internal functioning of the CHANCE network by supporting coordination, communication, and strategic reflection among its member organisations.

The project includes:

  • online and in-person network meetings in different European cities;
  • training sessions focused on youth engagement, civil society cooperation, and the fight against organised crime;
  • collective work on the strategic priorities of the CHANCE network for the coming years.

From Local Action to European Impact

By connecting local initiatives with a European perspective, YOUTH4YOU helps transform individual experiences into shared knowledge.
The project promotes dialogue between young people, civil society organisations, educators, and institutions, reinforcing democracy from the ground up.

Working Together for a More Just Europe

Co-funded by the European Union, YOUTH4YOU is coordinated by Libera together with the CHANCE network, bringing together organisations and young people from several European countries.
Together, they are building a space where youth participation, civic responsibility and European cooperation become concrete tools to promote transparency, inclusion, and active citizenship.
